Sometimes I’m just vibing and then remember lore from this fic like “Dipper stole the novacaine from Gideon’s very painful dental procedure with no guilt” or “Ford makes Bill a cup of tea every morning (normal) but is so worried about anyone finding out that he uses Febreeze to disguise the smell (so much more sus than just. making tea in your own home)" and it’s all I can think about. These characters are crazy insane (positive)

they cray cray frfr. dipper holds grudges so insanely hard and its only gonna get worse lol.

and fords just so paranoid. but like, for good reason, yk? bill gets those fuckass ginger slices in his tea. you ever walk into the kitchen after someone was just cutting ginger? if nothing else stronger (like onions or garlic) was being cut at the same time, usually you can pick up on it. and ford is an avid coffee drinker, he wouldn’t have a reason to be making tea unless he were making tea for his Very Platonic and Professional Roomate™️. but maybe thats the stanford pines talkin idk maybe im just a silly little guy who is overly observant of ginger usage.

Eventually ended up living with with Ghost-Eyes + Killbone after his dad literally abandoned him (and his mom ended up in a mental institution)

Man got tired of 'normal clothes' quick and went back to semi-formal and western wear

Yes his underpants have bunnies on them cus it's funny

Has an extensive night routine, especially for his hair

Wears contacts + roasts in the sun if he forgets sunscreen

Anger issues still, but he's workin on it <3

Likes horses

Thanks to therapy, he's WAY less creepy and understand why tf Mabel hated him

Still into writing love letters and poetry, but it's normal now at least (he does not give mabel the letters)

Into musicals and theatre

Public school sucks ass but at least living with convicts makes people shove off lol

Has been with Mabel for three weeks after she agreed to give him a chance at long distance; it's going great, but he's terrified of messing it up

Mabel gave him a cat bolo-tie she made on their third date

He likes sending gifts to Mabel, but asks her if it's ok before sending each of them (he still buys them before asking though, out of habit)

Ghost-Eyes is showing him how to fight but he's bad at it lmao

filbrick might love his kids in some way but he doesnt really like them. caryn loves her boys but doesnt care for them enough.

soos's dad might have liked the idea of a kid. but he never really loved him. abuelita had to take his place.

dipper and mabels parents probably love their kids, sure, but they fuck dipper up because of their issues.

wendys dad loves her as much as he can but she misses her mom so so much.

gideon and pacificas parents dont really love them. gideons parents fear him and pacifica fears her parents.

bills parents loved him so fucking much. it wasnt enough.

fiddlefords parents loved him enough to let him leave. but they left him with a bone deep fear of the "outside" in his bones.

but.. ford and stan. they arent even the twins parents but oh my GOD they love them. deep in their crazy old man bones they LOVE these kids.

fords angry and resentful but he sees them and he goes SOFT. he watches dippers every move and sees himself. he pats mabels fluffy hair "you're a good person, mabel."

stan loves these kids so much goddamnit. everything he does is for this family. you can see in every inch of him he just wants these kids to be ok. even when hes picking on dipper he wants to help so bad. he dies for them.

they are the best parents in the series and they save the world.
